A release is one batch of five products. Putting it into shops means splitting a batch that is already small, and it means a jar sitting on a shelf for months, which is exactly the thing the drops model exists to avoid.

So when?

When a batch is big enough that a shop can have some without the release selling out in a weekend. Honestly, that is a few releases away.
