Terms

The rules of buying from us, written to be read rather than to be survived.

Who we are

Bearded Hipster, Washington DC. Contact: hello@beardedhipster.com.

Orders

An order is accepted when we send you a confirmation email. If a release sells out between your click and our confirmation, we cancel and refund in full — we do not take backorders on a batch that does not exist.

Prices

Prices are in US dollars and include free US shipping. We may change prices for future releases; the price you paid is the price you paid.

Payment

Handled by Stripe. Card details go to Stripe directly and are never stored on our servers.

Subscriptions and the Release Pass

The Release Pass is a single prepayment for a stated number of future releases, not a subscription. No card is stored and nothing renews. If we stop making releases, or you cancel, we refund every box you have paid for and not received.

The standing order renews every 90 days until you cancel. The Monthly renews every 30 days and ships one piece of the current release each period, from a set reserved for you when you join. Both cancel at any time with immediate effect and you keep what has already shipped.

Across all of them: you are never charged for a box that has not shipped. Where a batch is going to be late, we pause billing rather than take payment for goods we cannot send.

Returns

Thirty days, opened or not. The detail is on the returns page and it forms part of these terms.

What the products are

These are cosmetic products for beard and skin. They soften and condition. They do not treat, cure or prevent anything, and they do not make hair grow. Full ingredients are published for every product before it goes on sale. Patch test if you have reacted to a grooming product before, and stop using it if it irritates your skin.

Liability

We are responsible for the product being what we said it was. We are not responsible for losses beyond that which we could not reasonably have foreseen. Nothing here removes rights you have under US consumer law.

Governing law

The laws of the District of Columbia.
